Can you believe that we have reached the end of our Sparks year already? We have truly enjoyed working with your girls this year, and hope that they have had fun as well.
If your Spark does want to continue with the program, please remember to register as soon as possible. The unit is half full and spaces will start to fill up very quickly once June 1 rolls around. Visit www.girlguides.ca to re-register.
Also, Jenn R and Janine will be looking for an additional leader next year, as Heather and I are both moving on to other units (Heather to be with her daughter Abby in Brownies; I am going up to Guides with my two older daughters.) Being a Guide leader is a great opportunity to get to know a great bunch of women and girls, not to mention try some new things. Please consider it!
This week's meeting: it's carnival night!!
Camp: Just a reminder that arrival is 7:30am on Saturday for those not staying Friday night. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for nice weather!
Finally, Sparks advancing to Brownies next year are invited to attend the advancement ceremony at St. Jerome School on Thursday May 15. Please arrive by 6:15pm.
