September 29th: Being a Spark

We had an exciting first meeting! It was fun to see the new Sparks asking the returning girls about what it means to be a Spark, a theme we will be continuing at our September 29 meeting. This week we will be talking about the Sparks uniform as the girls learn what they need to wear and bring to each meeting. They were very keen to start using their new pink tote bags, so getting them to pack them for Sparks shouldn't be a hard sell - going home with their own sash might prove more of a challenge! Feel feel free to affix a label to the inside of the sash (I'll bring some with me on Tuesday).

We will also be making invitations to our Sparks Enrolment Ceremony (to be held October 6th at 6:50), so save that date/time and stay tuned for more info.

Reminders:

• Girls must be signed in and out - clipboard is on the table
• Health Form - please hand it in to one of the Guiders at drop-off
• Annual dues ($30)  - payment can be made online or you can provide us with a cheque
